Waqaa! Meet Jermaine Jackson, a creative spirit known as Saint Jermaine, who dances between the worlds of music, sports, and storytelling. Born amidst the rugged beauty of Fairbanks, Alaska, and raised in the vibrant heart of Anchorage, Jermaine embodies a unique tapestry woven from his Black American and Yupik Eskimo heritage, rooted in the Western Alaskan village of Kotlik.
From the tender age of nine, Jermaine poured his soul into songwriting, penning verses that echoed the rhythms of his life. In high school, he played the alto saxophone, a melody in the making, while also conquering the fields and courts as a dedicated athlete in basketball, football, wrestling, and track & field. His journey continued at the prestigious University of Michigan, where he not only graced the football field but also discovered the alchemy of music production, crafting beats that would soon define his artistic voice.
Today, with an invigorated passion for creation, Saint Jermaine is on a mission to elevate music production to new heights. He’s currently working on a personal music project while collaborating with local talents, establishing himself as a sought-after producer. His artistry has reached the airwaves of Atlanta, where he contributed to various shows, blending his unique sound into the fabric of contemporary entertainment. Now pursuing a degree in Audio Production at the University of Washington, Jermaine remains ever-curious, eager to learn and grow in his craft.
As a host on Daybreak Star Radio, Jermaine brings his rich athletic background as a former D-1 college football player and amateur boxer into the world of sports broadcasting. He is dedicated to delivering a show that is not just interesting and entertaining but also informative.
