Music Rooted in Obsession
Nige B comes from a Cree background, always finding a calling towards music. Spending his time on treaty 6 territory, in Saskatchewan, Canada, music began early. Growing up he used to pretend play guitar solos, constantly having an ear for the instrument. That was until he met one of his good friends, Sam.
Sam knew how to play the guitar already, and Nige ran with it immediately. Nige became obsessed, playing the guitar up to 8 hours a day, even surpassing his own teacher. The calling felt natural, and as he matured, his love for music only blossomed even more.
Nige B is a multi-faceted artist that blends many sounds from different parts of the world. He fell in love with sounds from all over, once being told that if you learn every sound then you can work with every artist. Now, he’s built a strong catalog, with his latest release being ‘Reshape // Refashion’.

Reshape // Refashion
Nige B’s latest album ‘Reshape // Refashion’ is an 8 track album that was released on April 18, 2025. Featuring a wide range of artists such as Txreek, Rezcoast Grizz, Truent and Nige B’s closest collaborator, Dubbygotbars. Check out the album here‼️
Nige states that it was really important for him to find his own sound, learn more of the production side of things. So, he took a year off of work, where he mentors the youth at the Stanley Mission schools. Nige states that he really wanted to find his niche, and that he did.
His process always begins with the beat and then incorporates some form of guitar or keyboard. Stating that he also loves synth wave, whenever there’s a chance to incorporate it, Nige is there. Although, what really pushed this project to new heights was his obsession with the future of sound.

Broadened Horizons
Nige B states that he began to appreciate every genre and every sound. Going back to that statement of if you learn any sound, you can work with any artist. So, now he loves to incorporate different sounds into all of his music because it fills the sound with colors.
This leads to his mentorship with the youth, where he shows them the beauty of music at the Stanley Mission schools. He feels so inspired to see the youths inspiration and love for music. Often stating that he sees himself in those kids when their love for music begins.
Nige B ends off with some advice to the youth that’s hard to hear but ends with hope. Letting them know that the path towards fulfilling creativity is hard, getting out of your head is even harder. Although you have to believe in your art through and through, hold onto that love and obsession. Only then, will you truly feel fulfilled in what you heart yearns to express.
