2024 Gathering of Nations Powwow: Celebrating Native American Traditions

The 41st Annual Gathering of Nations Pow Wow is just around the corner, and we’re thrilled to announce its official poster release and kick off the promotional campaign. This legendary event will once again grace Albuquerque, New Mexico, at Expo New Mexico & Tingley Coliseum from April 25 to 27, 2024.

Miss Indian World Traditional Presentations (April 25, 2024): The event kicks off with a captivating presentation at the Albuquerque Convention Center – Kiva Auditorium. Tickets for this cultural extravaganza are only $15.

Gathering of Nations Pow Wow (April 25 – 27, 2024): This is the heart of the celebration, taking place on the “Powwow Grounds” at Expo New Mexico/Tingley Coliseum. It’s open to everyone, inviting you to immerse yourself in traditional & contemporary Native American song, dance, music, art, and food. Families are welcome, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Native American Horse & Rider Regalia Parade: Witness the awe-inspiring Horse & Rider Regalia Parade on Main Street, celebrating the pride and heritage of horse culture among many tribes.

• Explore over 300 crafter and artisan vendor booths, showcasing Native American craftsmanship.
• Enjoy performances by local, national, and international musical bands and performers. The stage is set for unforgettable musical experiences.
• More than 3,000 traditional Native American singers/drum groups and dancers will compete for prizes, making it a thrilling spectacle.

The Gathering of Nations Pow Wow is considered the most prominent Native American event in North America, bringing together over 700 tribes from the US, Canada, and Indigenous people from around the world. Last year, it set attendance records with over 105,000 attendees and over 4 million viewers from around the globe tuning into the live stream.

Advance ticket sales for the Miss Indian World Traditional Presentations and Gathering of Nations Powwow, along with camping (on the grounds at Expo NM with amenities), start on November 1st on the Gathering of Nations website. Tickets start at $25 for one day, with two-day passes and VIP seating available. General parking is available at Expo NM.
