Native food rights are human rights. Join the First Nations Development Institute, Gates Foundation Indigenous Communities Employee Resource Group, and Gates Foundation Discovery Center for a screening of the film, Gather. Learn about the growing movement amongst Indigenous Americans to reclaim their health and cultural identities through sovereignty over their ancestral food systems, while battling against the historical trauma brought on by centuries of genocide.
The film screening will be followed by an Indigenous panel discussion with local and national leaders. Closed captioning will be provided for the film and ASL will be provided for the panel discussion.
